It is with heavy hearts that the McDonald Family announces the passing of
Elena Marie McDonald, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She tragically succumbed to an accidental overdose on the eve of her 23rd birthday. A funeral mass and interment of her ashes at the adjacent Old Mission Cemetery will take place on April 7, 2022 at 1:30pm. Serra Center at Mission San Luis Rey 4050 Mission Ave., Oceanside, CA 92057 A reception to toast her life will follow: Courtyard by Marriott in Oceanside Endless Summer Banquet Room 3501 Seagate Way, Oceanside, CA 92056 Complimentary Food, Beer, and Wine Dressy Casual. Elena Marie McDonald is a LIFESHARING hero. In her last hour, she gave life to others." She donated her liver, two kidneys and heart. Her heart went to an 11-year-old girl. We pray for the recovery of all of the recipients. The butterflies are the LIFESHARING organization's logo.
